A Long Journey to This Point

I have been painting for six years. During this time, I have tried different techniques and styles, and I am now beginning to find my own voice and visual language.

The idea of creating this website came from my children. They encouraged me to do something with my paintings and to show them — and myself — in the online space.

I didn’t outsource the creation of the website; I built it myself. Along the way, I discovered many similarities between painting and website creation. In both cases, colours, design, typography, overall tone, and balance play an important role.

There were moments when I thought I could have spent the same time painting instead, but as you can see, in the end I didn’t give up. The design and marketing are my daughter’s work. Seeing my paintings through her approach was an interesting and inspiring experience.

The website is now finished and has started its journey, but this is not the final destination. It is a beginning — a space that will continue to evolve and change together with me and my work.

Thank you for visiting! Take a look through the collection, and be sure to return as new paintings are added.
